After "kicking his tires" in a workout last week, the Tennessee Titanswill try to hammer out a deal with Abraham this week, two sources informed of the team's plans tell Rapoport.
Although the Titans' interest in Abraham goes back to last offseason, finalizing a contract could be tricky. Abraham reportedly was seeking a contract in the range of at least $5 million annually, a prohibitive salary for a situational pass rusher likely to be relegated primarily to third downs.
Signing Abraham would "not necessarily" mean the end of the Titans' interest in Dwight Freeney, one of the sources told Rapoport.
