Injuries continue to pile up for the Green Bay Packers on both sides of the ball.
Wide receiver Jordy Nelson (ankle), linebacker Clay Matthews (hamstring) and right tackle Bryan Bulaga (hip) all exited Sunday's 31-17 victory over the Arizona Cardinals.
Nelson didn't return after his ankle was caught underneath him while he tried to make a sliding catch in the first quarter. Nelson, who missed the Packers' previous game with a hamstring injury and was questionable to play in this one, limped to the sideline and had his ankle iced. He did not return.
Bulaga limped off the field with a hip injury. He later was carted to the locker room and did not return.
Matthews walked to the locker room with a trainer late in the third quarter with a hamstring issue and did not return.
Packers coach Mike McCarthy didn't have any updates on the players' injuries during his postgame news conference, but he conceded the team needs to heal entering its bye week.
"We gotta get healthy," McCarthy said. "That's what bye weeks are for."
