Linebacker Keith Bulluck will officially retire from the NFL on Friday in Nashville, where he played 10 of his 11 NFL seasons for the Titans, The Tennessean reported.
A press conference is scheduled at the city's Baptist Sports Park.
From 2000 to 2009, Bulluck had 1,265 tackles and 19 interceptions for a Tennessee team that was frequently in the playoffs. He played for the New York Giants in 2010, but did not play last season.
"It was great for me to be able to finish in New York," Bulluck said. "... But in Tennessee, I grew from a young man to a grown man in Nashville. The community embraced me and I played a lot of great football there. It is only right that I come back home to Nashville and let the Titans’ fans, the Keith Bulluck fans, and the people of Nashville have this happen."
