With mandatory minicamp in the rearview mirror, Le'Veon Bell is back on his schedule.
The New York Jets running back was not spotted onfield during the team's voluntary organized team activities Tuesday, Gang Green's third-to-last session of the offseason program.
Bell was joined in absentia by cornerback Trumaine Johnson and safety Jamal Adams, according to local reporters in Florham Park.
Bell and Johnson missed OTAs earlier this offseason before both attended New York's mandatory minicamp last week.
The star running back notably stayed away from the Jets facility until last week's minicamp, citing a desire to workout on his terms and with his trainers as he has done for years to All-Pro results. His return marked his first team-related football activity in 18 months.
With Bell likely to skip the rest of New York's OTAs, the next time we should see the RB is training camp in late July.
