The Detroit Lions reached the 75-man roster limit Tuesday by making moves with two players, including trading recently obtained offensive lineman Tyler Polumbus to the Seattle Seahawks.
Polumbus' agent, Jack Mills, told the Detroit Free Pressthat his client was traded Monday night. The Lions claimed Polumbus from the Denver Broncos on waivers just last week.
The Lions also placed cornerback Jack Williams on the physically unable to perform list.
Williams has been sidelined since injuring a knee in his first game with the Lions last season. He will miss at least the first six games of the season.
