CHICAGO -- Detroit Lions running back Kevin Smith was active for Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears after injuring his right shoulder the previous week.
Smith was questionable after helping the Lions break their 19-game losing streak with a win over Washington in Week 2. He ran for 101 yards before leaving with an injured right shoulder during the third quarter.
The Lions held out defensive tackle Sammie Hill because of an ankle injury and defensive end Dewayne White with a hamstring injury.
The Bears were without linebackers Hunter Hillenmeyer (rib) and Pisa Tinoisamoa (knee).
