Plenty of hard hits -- both of the legal and illegal variety -- were passed around during Sunday's brutal Bears-Lions clash, but Detroit wide receiver Calvin Johnson appeared to take the worst blow of all when Chicago linebacker Lance Briggs popped him during the second half.
Lions fans can breathe a sigh of relief, however, as Johnson will not suffer the same fate of concussed running back Jahvid Best.
Johnson told the Detroit Free Press on Tuesday that he only had his bell run during the game and later passed a concussion test. Johnson also said he will play this Sunday against the Carolina Panthers.
Johnson added that he didn't have a problem with Briggs' play.
"That was a good hit," Johnson told the Free Press. "I told him that. ... It was all shoulder pad."
