Friday's Heads Up Football news:
- USA Football reported how the Heads Up Football program has helped to unite 28 parks across northern Georgia via the North Georgia Youth Football Association.
"Despite us being 28 separate and unique parks and being two-thirds recreation departments and one-third parent associations, we are all one unified voice with regard to player safety and coaching technique," Green said. "The affiliation with USA Football, specifically Heads Up Football, has created a community in which coaches from one park are able to speak the same language as coaches from another and, essentially, help them even though they wear different colors."
- USA Football's Heads Up Football blog reminded coaches they have to sign up for the program each year to be certified via a Q&A.
