LSU coach Les Miles indicated Friday that offensive lineman Josh Williford's football career has ended.
Williford (6-7, 343) missed the last half of LSU's season last year with a concussion. A subsequent concussion in fall camp that knocked Williford unconscious has apparently brought the Dothan, Ala., native's career to an end.
"I don't see him returning in the forseeable future. I don't see him returning at this point but concentrating on his school work," Miles said Friday, according to nola.com.
Stepping in for Williford at left guard will be sophomore Vadal Alexander, who made nine starts at right tackle last season.
