INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - The Super Bowl matchup might be Eli vs. Brady, but Peyton Manning is still the talk of Indianapolis.
As the teams took part in media day festivities Tuesday, the questions about Manning and his future did not go away.
Instead, they intensified as the tumultuous month of January drew to a close and continued to cast a shadow over the NFL's championship game.
Most players say they're not paying attention to speculation that Manning's career could be over, but it's hard to miss.
After last week's public spat between the Colts' franchise quarterback and team owner Jim Irsay, the two issued a joint statement in hopes of tamping down publicity leading up to the Super Bowl. But that hasn't happened.
