Marshawn Lynch a game-time decision vs. Cardinals

Earlier this week, Seattle SeahawksPro Bowl running back Marshawn Lynch was experiencing back spasms that put his availability for the team's Week 1 game against the Arizona Cardinals in jeopardy.

When the Seahawks hit the practice field Wednesday, Lynch was there and is preparing to play against the Cardinals.

"I feel good," Lynch said, according to Eric Williams of the Tacoma News Tribune. "It will be my body's decision. But I've taken the appropriate steps to make sure that I don't have to do something out of the ordinary to get ready."

Lynch has played a major role in changing the national perception of the Seahawks franchise, which has gone from a soft, finesse club to one of the more physical teams in the NFL.

Lynch ran for 1,204 yards last season, the first Seahawks running back to top 1,000 yards since Shaun Alexander in 2005, and in March received a four-year, $30 million extension that included $17 million in guarantees.

Lynch's back is expected to be a day-to-day situation and even if he practices for the remainder of the week will be a game-time decision on Sunday. Fourth-round draft pick Robert Turbin will get the first-team reps during practice and will start if Lynch is unable to go.
