The Cincinnati Bengals signed free-agent linebacker Michael Boley on Tuesday.
Boley was a key contributor on the New York Giants' 2011 Super Bowl champions. He has started 102 games in his eight-year NFL career, posting 685 tackles, 9.5 sacks and eight interceptions.
Boley makes the Bengals' defense -- already a team strength -- even more potent. The Bengals listed him second on their depth chart at weakside linebacker behind Vontaze Burfict.
