Michael Vick: I let down my Philadelphia Eagles mates

Michael Vick had his issues on Sunday.

The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback needed the entire 60 minutes to break out of a four-interception funk before executing a game-winning drive that halted the Cleveland Browns 17-16 in a contest that nobody seemed to want.

Vick's ugly outing came to a head on an errant pass that landed in the hands of Browns linebacker D'Qwell Jackson, who returned it 27-yards for a touchdown to give Cleveland a 16-10 lead early in the fourth.

Vick was rattled and frustrated by the Browns' defense, and his teammates noticed. The veteran starter admitted that he sensed doubt in the huddle in the minutes before leading the Eagles on a 16-play, 91-yard game-winning march.

"My teammates, they had that sudden look in their eyes as if they were wondering what was wrong with my attitude, why was I hanging my head," Vick told Comcast SportsNet Philly on Sunday. "They had never seen me like that before. I just felt like I let them down. It'll never happen again, regardless of what the game dictates."

It was a surprising showing by Cleveland's defense, but the Eagles felt like a team that couldn't get out of its own way Sunday. Vick was in and out of the lineup in the preseason and coach Andy Reid admitted his quarterback looked rusty.

What he got away with against the Browns won't fly against the Baltimore Ravenssix days from now.
