"He's feeling good," Shanahan said. "Got no dizziness, no headaches, and no vomiting. He feels like he's done well on the tests that he's done so far."
Griffin is having a day of rest and testing Monday. He'll be monitored while getting some cardio work in on Monday. He was exhibiting no post-concussion symptoms, according to Shanahan. Griffin told Shanahan he was "fine" during the game after taking the hit, but Shanahan said he could tell Griffin's eyes were glassy.
"We're going to go through the process with Robert, hopefully there is no setback and he's ready to go," Shanahan said about Griffin's status for this week.
Griffin expressed confidence to NFL Network's Michelle Beisner that he would be ready to face the Vikings this week, but that decision will be up to doctors. The NFL is investigating the characterization of Griffin's injury during the game. They officially announced him as "shaken up" and questionable to return to the game.
Shanahan also announced that safety Brandon Meriweather is expected to miss four more weeks with his knee injury. The Redskins also expect tackle Jammal Brown to be ready to play after the team's Week 11 bye.
