The Tennessee Titans are preparing for Kenny Britt's potential suspension this season following his (outrageous) eighth arrest in just three NFL seasons.
Brooks: Would Titans miss Britt?
Legal trouble might force the Titans to be without Kenny Britt next season, but they have plenty of offensive options to lean on, Bucky Brooks writes. **More ...**
Former Jacksonville Jaguars wideout Mike Sims-Walker will work out for the team Tuesday, according to John Glennon of the Tennessean.
Nothing came of Sims-Walker's two tryouts with the Houston Texans this offseason -- and he won't make anyone forget about Britt's unusual gifts -- but his 134 receptions over four seasons would give the Titans some depth. Expect Nate Washington to start and rookie Kendall Wright to see plenty of work if and when the NFL suspends Britt (who, by the way, is coming off three knee surgeries).
Back to Sims-Walker: Most of his production came during his 869-yard campaign with the Jaguars in 2009. He fell off a cliff last season in games for the St. Louis Rams and Jags, and his career has fizzled in a hurry. If he doesn't catch on with Tennessee, don't expect to see Sims-Walker in a football uniform any day soon.
