Cincinnati Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer spent the night in Minnesota after his second interview with the Vikings on Tuesday, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported, citing a source close to the team's search for a new head coach.
Zimmer told the Pioneer-Press late Tuesday that the interview "went well" but said "No, not yet" when asked if the team had made him an offer.
Rapoport previously reported that Zimmer and Arizona Cardinals defensive coordinator Todd Bowles were two of three "finalists" to replace the fired Leslie Frazier, with the third candidate a mystery.
The Vikings and Cleveland Browns are the only two NFL teams left without a head coach.
