Michael Sam, the first openly gay pro football prospect, most likely won't go in the first round when the NFL Draft begins today at New York's Radio City Music Hall.
But the New York Daily News reported that once the second round begins Friday night, the focus throughout the next two days will be on Sam.
- The New York Times featured Sam, looking at how he and the league will face scrutiny during the three-day NFL draft.
- Sports Illustrated reported that Sam, who might not get drafted, doesn't want cameras on him during the draft.
- And The Associated Press reported that Sam won the Arthur Ashe Courage Award on Wednesday.
