Mexico City, July 28, 2016 -- Tickets for the NFL's Mexico City game between the Oakland Raiders and Houston Texans sold out Thursday morning. Estadio Azteca will be at capacity for the first ever Monday Night Football game to be played outside of the United States on November 21.
The NFL thanks fans in Mexico for their extraordinary response.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell expressed excitement over this morning's ticket sales.
"Today's sellout further confirms what a passionate fan base we have in Mexico," said Commissioner Goodell. "We look forward to experiencing the exciting atmosphere in Estadio Azteca when the Oakland Raiders meet the Houston Texans on Monday Night Football this November."
