Drew Brees has helped develop diminutive receiver Lance Moore from an undrafted afterthought to a local hero in New Orleans. (And Super Bowl champion.) It's no surprise where Moore stands in the contract standoff between Brees and the Saints.

"The world" according to Moore would be for the Saints to make Brees the highest paid quarterback in NFL history.
"He's done things that have never been done before," Moore said.
Brees would constantly name check Moore as a guy that got "it" early in the wideout's career when he was trying to make an impact. John Madden once said on an NBC broadcast that Brees requested Moore be inserted in the starting lineup because he was so comfortable with him.
Now that folks listen to what Moore says, he was able to return the favor.
