RENTON, Wash. -- Matt Hasselbeck is watching practice while wearing a green baseball cap, yet the Seahawks are not ruling their quarterback out of Sunday's game against Chicago.
Seattle coach Jim Mora said Wednesday that Hasselbeck may not practice Thursday, either, because of a broken rib. Seneca Wallace is taking the first-team snaps.
Mora says even if Hasselbeck doesn't practice all week, the three-time Pro Bowler will play if he and team doctors say he can. Hasselbeck said Monday he plans to work through the pain.
Sean Locklear, who has been replacing injured Walter Jones at left tackle, is out because of a high ankle sprain. Jones is returning to practice following knee surgery, and the nine-time Pro Bowler could make his season debut Sunday.
Linebacker Lofa Tatupu may not practice or play this week because of a hamstring injury.
