Morris Claiborne to Dallas Cowboys fans: 'I'm not holding out'

The top eight picks in the 2012 NFL Draft remain unsigned, but No. 6 overall pick Morris Claiborne of the Dallas Cowboys didn't sound too worried about that during a personal appearance in Shreveport, La., on Friday.

"I have no idea. I let my agents and those guys handle that. So far, they seem to be doing a pretty good job," the former LSU cornerback said, according to the Shreveport Times via ProFootballTalk.com. "I’ll patiently wait. I’m not in no hurry. You hear a lot of talk about people saying I’m holding out. No I’m not holding out. I’m going to camp signed or not signed. It don’t matter."

Claiborne said he was happy to interact with fans as an NFL rookie.

"I feel good. Anytime you can get back here and get around all the people who love you, it’s great. This is on a different scale. I’m used to running around signing, but to be sitting down with all the focus just on you … but you gotta love it. That’s what you work so hard for."
