You've seen one goodbye letter from an NFL draft prospect to his college fan base, you've seen them all, right?
"Thanks to everyone. I'll always be a (insert school mascot here). See you in the NFL."
Leave it to Myles Garrett, the potential No. 1 pick of the 2017 NFL Draft, to go way off the script. The Texas A&M defensive end is an interesting character along with being an elite football talent, and he added to the intrigue Thursday in penning a lengthy sign-off to Texas A&M fans in The Players' Tribune. What was different about it? How about a College Station taco joint coming along for Garrett's NFL ride?
"I would be remiss if I didn't mention something else I'll miss deeply: Fuego, the finest taco dispensary on the planet," Garrett wrote. "Those tacos were always there for me when I needed them most. Wherever I end up next, I will do whatever I can to make sure that Fuego opens a franchise in that city. This is something that is very important to me."
Imagine that: in acquiring perhaps the most talented pass rusher in the draft, an NFL club might also be adding a taco franchisee.
