The New York Giants' search to fill their offensive coordinator role will get a jolt Wednesday.
NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported that the Giants interviewed former Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator Mike Sullivan, per a source told of their plans. Ex-Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains is scheduled to interview with the team Thursday, and Green Bay Packers quarterbacks coach Ben McAdoo is scheduled to interview Saturday, Rapoport reports.

Sullivan certainly has support within the locker room.
Wide receiver Victor Cruz told Newsday's Tom Rock on Wednesday he hopes Sullivan lands the job because the Giants don't need a completely new offense. "I just think we need a refresher," Cruz said. "A refreshing face we know, one we're comfortable with, and we can go from there."
Loggains also is scheduled to meet with the Lions during Mike Munchak's interview Friday, potentially as part of a package deal if the former Titans coach is hired in Detroit.
In many NFL circles, Loggains is viewed as a very smart and up-and-coming offensive coordinator, Rapoport previously has reported.
