2023 NFL Draft Transportation
Things in downtown Kansas City will look a little different with the 2023 NFL Draft presented by Bud Light in town, so plan your route and know your options before you go! There will be plenty of quick and easy ways to get to the 2023 NFL Draft which will take place in the downtown area surrounding Union Station Kansas City and the National WWI Museum and Memorial.
Regardless of your route downtown, Main Entry 1, located at the intersection of Wyandotte St and Memorial Drive on the South side of the National WWI Museum and Memorial, is the Main Entry for all fans to access the 2023 NFL Draft presented by Bud Light.

Park and Walk
There are multiple parking lot options along the existing route of the KC Streetcar and RideKC bus routes to the 2023 NFL Draft presented by Bud Light site. Parking will be available throughout the downtown area including the Crossroads District, Central Business District, Crown Center Area, River Market Area, Westport Area, and Country Club Plaza. From the River Market, Central Business District, and Crossroads Arts District, walk south on Main St after parking, and follow area signage to direct you to the 2023 NFL Draft presented by Bud Light Main Entry 1. From Midtown and Westport, walk north on Main St. to Main Entry 1. This is the primary entry for all fans to access the NFL Draft site.

KC Streetcar
Take the KC Streetcar to the Crossroads streetcar stop at 19th and Main. Once you exit the streetcar, walk South on Main St. to 20th St. head East on 20th St. to Grand St and follow signage and teammates directing access to the 2023 NFL Draft presented by Bud Light Main Entry 1. Starting on Wednesday, April 26, and continuing throughout the Draft, the Union Station Streetcar stop will be closed to passenger services. During this time and throughout the NFL Draft, southbound KC Streetcar passenger service will terminate at the Crossroads southbound streetcar stop at 19th & Main. This means all passengers will need to de-board at that location. All other Streetcar stops will be open and operating at normal levels.
Board the KC Streetcar at major areas such as the City Market, the Power & Light District, and the Kauffman Center and head South to the 2023 NFL Draft presented by Bud Light area. After exiting the KC Streetcar at the final Crossroads Southbound streetcar stop, it's just a 15-minute walk to access the 2023 NFL Draft presented by Bud Light. The KC Streetcar is known for being the most frequent transit service in the region. Run times during the NFL Draft will aim to be quicker than normal frequency with 5–10 minute arrival times. However, please note, with increased downtown traffic, wait times may be longer than usual.

KC Streetcar Hours & Service during the NFL Draft:
- Thursday, April 27: 6 AM – 2 AM
- Friday, April 28: 6 AM – 2 AM
- Saturday, April 29 – 7 AM – 2 AM
RideKC MAX
MAX is Kansas City's bus rapid transit line that will run through the downtown area to the 2023 NFL Draft presented by Bud Light site. The route will operate along Broadway Blvd with a stop at Broadway Blvd and West Pershing Rd. After exiting the bus at the Broadway Blvd and West Pershing Rd. stop, it's just a 5-minute walk to the Entry 2 on Pershing Rd to access the 2023 NFL Draft presented by Bud Light. Park and Ride
Free Park and Ride will be available from the West Bottoms Garage, located at 1601 State Line Rd, Kansas City, MO 64102, from Thursday, April 27 – Saturday April 29. There will be a Shuttle service from the garage to Summit St for drop off and pick up. Prebooking is required to ride the shuttle, check back soon for reservation details. To purchase parking for the West Bottoms garage, visit the VisitKC website. After purchasing, reserve a spot on the shuttle for free. It’s approximately a 10-minute walk to Entry 2 of the 2023 NFL Draft site. This is the only Park and Ride option.
Rideshare
For Rideshare Drop-offs: When you’re ready to head to The Draft, a ride is just a few taps away. National WWI Museum and Memorial" or “Union Station” as your destination and your driver will take you to the designated rideshare drop-off zone, curbside on E 27th Terrace. From there, follow signs to access Main Entry 1. The entrance is about a 10-minute walk.
For Rideshare Pickups: Due to security policies and road closures, pickups are not permitted on the roadways in and immediately around the Draft site. When you're ready to leave, exit via either Entry 1 or Entry 3, then request a ride from one of the rideshare pickup zones:
- From Entry 1: 27th Terrace at McGee Trafficway
- From Entry 3: McGee St near Pershing, Grand Boulevard near SeaLife
Lane Reductions and Road Closures
- Lane reductions will occur from Sunday, April 30 to Sunday, May 7 for one way street traffic only on Main St. and Kessler Rd.
- Road closures will be in effect surrounding the NFL Draft site from East 20th and Main St. to East 30th and Wyandotte St. from Monday, April 10 to Sunday, May 7, 2023.
- Street parking will be restricted near the 2023 NFL Draft site from 19th St. to 31st St. from West Pennway/ Broadway St. to McGee St. All closures will be in effect from April 26 – April 29.
Road Closures from April 2 to May 7
- Westbound Pershing Road will be closed between Broadway St and Main St.
- Access to Union Station and Union Station’s West Yard Garage remain open via Broadway Boulevard. to Pershing Road.
Road Closures from April 10 to May 7
- Main St between 20th St and Grand Boulevard.
- Pershing Road (both directions) between Broadway Boulevard and Grand Boulevard.
- Kessler Road between Pershing Road and Wyandotte St.
- Memorial Drive
- OK St.
Lane Restrictions from April 10 to April 25 and April 30 to May 7
One-Way Public Access from:
- Broadway Blvd. to Pershing East bound and Kessler South bound to Wyandotte St.
- Main St North bound to Pershing East bound
Mobility Assistance / Accessible Routes
All entries to the 2023 NFL Draft presented by Bud Light are accessible and equipped with mobility assistance for guests utilizing mobility devices.
Union Station Kansas City will have 200 available spots per day for accessible parking at the 2023 NFL Draft for fans who have a valid/current accessible parking placard. Accessible parking at Union Station Kansas City will be on a first come first served basis. Each guest will receive a unique parking pass for the specific day. NFL Draft ADA Only Parking Tags purchased with Union Station MUST BE collected the Kansas City Visitor Center (1241 Main Street, Kansas City, MO 64105) between April 25 – 29. Amtrak Availability
