That won't stop the rumors, reports, and speculation from ramping up on Thursday. We're going to use this space to keep you up to date on all the latest draft buzz building until the draft starts. Consider it your draft smokescreen rumor tracker.
» NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reports that many teams believe the Titans "just want to take (Oregon quarterback) Marcus Mariota and be done" with the process. That's how high their asking price for a possible move appears to be.
» The Browns reportedly still believe they can land Sam Bradford in a potential trade. That makes sense considering the team is mixed on their opinion of Mariota, according to coach Mike Pettine.
» Deryk Gilmore, the agent for LSU offensive lineman La'el Collins, attempted to pull his client from the draft in an effort to clear his name, according to Rapoport. The NFL denied that request, so Collins is eligible to be drafted.
» The Jaguars are one team to keep an eye on late Thursday. They could trade back into the first round, according to NFL Media's Michael Silver.
» Bryce Petty is on the Saints' radar as a potential first-round pick. New Orleans is believed to be in the market for a quarterback to groom behind Drew Brees.
» The Redskins are looking to move back from the No. 5 overall pick, according to NFL Media's Albert Breer.
» Melvin Gordon is a "very real possibility" to go to the New York Giants at No. 9 overall, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
» Albert Breer ran through a number of nuggets as the draft approached. A few highlights: He doesn't expect Amari Cooper to get past No. 6. The Titans have no interest in trading out of the first 15 picks. The Redskins, Rams, and Jets all want to trade down. Ereck Flowers and Andrus Peat are considerations at the end of the top ten. Breer believes that Randy Gregory will fall out of the first round, while Shane Ray will not.
