Points based on standard scoring in NFL.com fantasy football leagues
5. Dez Bryant, WR, Dallas Cowboys (25.10 fantasy points)
There are few players across fantasy -- and real -- football who can be as frustrating as Bryant, but games like Thursday's are why he is so highly valued. Dallas' big receiver snagged eight passes for 145 yards and two touchdowns in the Cowboys' 38-31 loss to the Washington Redskins. It was the second time in as many weeks (and the third time this season) that Bryant topped 20 fantasy points. Next week, he'll try to keep the streak going against a Philadelphia Eagles team in disarray.
4. Matthew Stafford, QB, Detroit Lions (26.34 fantasy points)
The Lions are still stuck with a Thanksgiving Day losing streak, but not because of Stafford. Detroit's quarterback threw for 441 yards and a pair of touchdowns in a 34-31 overtime loss. Going back to Week 4, Stafford has scored 20 or more points in every even-numbered week. If the pattern holds, Week 13 wouldn't be a good one, but the Lions host the Indianapolis Colts, so...we'll see.
3. Tony Romo, QB, Dallas Cowboys (28.34 fantasy points)
Tony Romo usually plays big in November and Thursday was no exception. Romo threw for 441 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions in Dallas' loss to the Redskins. It was Romo's first game with more than 20 fantasy points since Week 1. The Cowboys host the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 13.
2. Robert Griffin III, QB, Washington Redskins (29.34 fantasy points)
RG3 has become a near-permanent resident of this list. The rookie wowed 'em again in his Texas homecoming, lighting up the Dallas Cowboys for 311 yards and four touchdowns on Thanksgiving. Griffin has now posted 22 or more fantasy points in six of his past seven games. The only time he failed to reach that mark, he left the game early because of an injury. When he plays four quarters, he's usually money. He'll put that on the line next week when the New York Giants come calling. Griffin posted 23.22 fantasy points against Big Blue in Week 7.
1. Tom Brady, QB, New England Patriots (31.42 fantasy points)
It's fitting that on Thanksgiving Day, Brady carved up the Jets defense like a turkey. The surefire Hall of Famer was a model of efficiency, throwing the ball just 28 times for 323 yards and three touchdowns in New England's 49-19 win, earning #KABOOM honors along the way. Next week, Brady faces the Miami Dolphins in a classic AFC East rivalry.
