- DL Mazi Smith experienced an allergic reaction Friday afternoon at training camp and was unable to travel with the Cowboys to Las Vegas for their Saturday preseason game, the team announced. Smith received treatment and will be reevaluated Saturday morning, after which his game status will be updated, per the team.

- WR Rashid Shaheed did not practice because of a toe or foot injury, head coach Dennis Allen told reporters.
- LT Taliese Fuaga (back tightness) remained out Friday, though Allen said he should still be ready for Week 1.

- G Aaron Banks (finger) broke his pinkie finger in practice this week and underwent surgery on Friday, head coach Kyle Shanahan said. Shanahan is hopeful Banks will be ready for Week 1 of the regular season.
