  • OL Bayron Matos, who played basketball for Southern Florida and has never played football, has a pre-draft visit with the Bengals on Tuesday, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported.

RETIREMENTS

  • WR Rashard Higgins will sign a one-day contract on Tuesday and retire as a member of the Browns, the team announced.
  • LB Christian Kirksey will sign a one-day contract on Tuesday and retire as a member of the Browns, the team announced.

  • QB Deshaun Watson (shoulder) told reporters he is "throwing full speed," per Zac Jackson of The Athletic. Watson also said the plan is he will participate in OTAs at some level, but the focus is training camp.
  • RB Nick Chubb, who suffered a significant knee injury during the 2023 season, is "attacking his rehab every day," per head coach Kevin Stefanski.
  • RB Nyheim Hines (torn ACL) is still rehabbing, and the team is "not sure" when he will be ready to practice, per Stefanski.

  • P Jon Ryan signed a one-day contract with the franchise to retire as a Seattle Seahawk. Ryan, who hasn't played since 2017, competed for the Seahawks in 10 of his 12 NFL seasons. For his career, he averaged 44.7 yards per punt with a net average of 38.4. He began his career playing two seasons for the Packers.
