INJURIES

• WR Rashee Rice (knee) had successful surgery Tuesday to repair his LCL, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported. Rice is expected to miss the remainder of the season, as reported Monday by Rapoport. Only Rice's LCL needed to be repaired, with the procedure confirming there was no repair needed for his ACL, MCL or meniscus.

INJURIES

• RB Aaron Jones (hip) is considered week to week but it won't be a long-term injury, head coach Kevin O'Connell announced. The Vikings are on a bye this week.

INJURIES

• QB Derek Carr (oblique) is expected to undergo an MRI exam on Tuesday following his injury during the Saints' loss to the Chiefs on Monday night. New Orleans HC Dennis Allen did not have an update on Carr's status when he met with reporters on Tuesday.

COACHING NEWS

• HC Robert Saleh has been fired after a 2-3 start to the 2024 season, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported, per a source. The team has since announced the firing. DC Jeff Ulbrich will become the team's interim head coach, NFL Network's Peter Schrager reported, per sources.

INJURIES

• QB Russell Wilson (calf) is expected to be a full participant in Wednesday's practice, head coach Mike Tomlin announced Tuesday. Tomlin added that Wilson will work with the second team in an effort to not disrupt Justin Fields' preparation for the Raiders this Sunday.
• RB Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 6, per Tomlin.
