  • RB David Montgomery (knee) is seeking a third opinion on his knee, which is why the Lions have yet to place him on injured reserve, head coach Dan Campbell said. Montgomery tore his MCL and Campbell said Monday that the running back would undergo season-ending surgery, but the team is now in a holding pattern.

  • QB Trevor Lawrence underwent shoulder surgery on Tuesday, coach Doug Pederson told reporters Wednesday. Lawrence was placed on season-ending injured reserve on Dec.4 with the shoulder injury and a concussion. The QB cleared concussion protocol on Sunday, Pederson said.
  • TE Evan Engram underwent successful surgery Monday on his torn labrum, per Pederson.
