Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha left Sunday's game in the first half after a mid-air collision with Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Dallas Clark. The Eagles initially called Asomugha's return questionable, but he came back in the beginning of the third quarter.
Asomugha was high in the air as he broke up a pass when his hip area made contact around Clark's shoulder pads. Asomugha was flipped upside down and landed between on his shoulder blades. He eventually walked off under his own power, but he did not look good.
Fox reported that Eagles doctors were evaluating Asomugha for a neck injury. X-rays on the neck were negative. Asomugha also suffered a bruised thigh on the play.
