There was less conversation about the 2013 NFL Supplemental Draft than usual, and that was for good reason.
The annual selection of players came and went Thursday with no selections, the league announced via Twitter. Six players were declared eligible for the draft, which focuses on players who decide to go pro but did not make themselves available for April's NFL draft.
The six players, including UNLV defenders James Boyd and Nate Holloway, now are eligible to sign as undrafted free agents. It's the first year since 2008 that no one was selected in the supplemental draft.
We'd also like to congratulate our supplemental draft expert, Henry Hodgson, for nailing 223 of 224 spots in his Supplemental Mock Draft. Top that, Mayock.
