As far as meet cutes go, Hollywood probably won't be tripping all over itself to fictionalize the circumstances that brought Oklahoma State safety Zach Craig and Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Jordan Daigle together.
Daigle was watching last season's Bedlam rivalry game between the Cowboys and Oklahoma on TV. "And I remember this cute blond kid walked out to do the coin toss," Daigle told the Tulsa World. "I looked at my friend, and I was like, 'That guy is really cute.'"
Daigle, now entering her second year as a Cowboys cheerleader, began following Craig on Twitter after the game, and he returned the favor following some pre-Manti Te'o skepticism. Craig took Daigle out on their first date last December when Oklahoma State played in the Heart of Dallas Bowl.
But Daigle won't be able to see Craig in action every Saturday this fall, as the former TCU Showgirl will be the in-game host for the Horned Frogs' home games this season. TCU plays at Oklahoma State on Oct. 19, which should lead to some interesting interactions between the couple on Twitter and off.
Now maybe there's where the movie comes from.
