GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) - Green Bay Packers linebacker Brad Jones' best tackle of the day might not have been on another football player.
Jones stepped up to make the stop when a fan ran on the field during the second half of Sunday's regular-season finale between the Packers and Detroit Lions at Lambeau Field without immediately being noticed by security.
Security took over from there, surrounding the fan and taking him into custody.
A Packers spokesman did not immediately comment on the incident. The team's website says entering the playing field without proper authorization is a "violation of league rules and city ordinance," and that violators are subject to ejection and arrest.
