GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) - The Green Bay Packers traded up for the second time Friday, making a deal with New England that allowed them to take Vanderbilt cornerback Casey Hayward in the second round of the NFL draft.
The 5-11, 192-pound Hayward had 15 interceptions in four seasons with the Commodores.
Green Bay also moved up in the second round earlier Friday, taking Michigan State defensive lineman Jerel Worthy with the No. 51 overall pick in the second round of the NFL draft on Friday. The 6-2, 308-pound Worthy had 12 sacks and 27.5 tackles for losses in three seasons for the Spartans.
