Packers president primes fans for Super Bowl run

Super Bowl LII takes place in Minneapolis in February. Green Bay Packers president Mark Murphy expects plenty of Cheeseheads to invade Minnesota.

"It's going to be a lot of fun for all of our fans to drive across the state for the Super Bowl," Murphy said Monday at a shareholder event in Green Bay, via ESPN's Rob Demovsky.

Green Bay hasn't been to a Super Bowl since 2010, with repeated playoff disappointments that have Packers fans wringing their hands about potentially wasting the prime years of Aaron Rodgers.

We won't make too much of Murphy's pro-Packers pom-pom comments to shareholders. But if you are a Vikings fan, having your rivals invade during Super Bowl week would be among the most torturous events imaginable.
