Slowly but surely, Andrew Luck is on his way back for the Indianapolis Colts.
Coach Chuck Pagano told reporters that his starting quarterback was limited during Wednesday's session after missing the past two games with a shoulder injury, per Zak Keefer of The Indianapolis Star.
Pagano labeled Luck as "day-to-day" and wouldn't confirm if the passer would play Sunday against the New England Patriots. The quarterback's arrow is pointing up, though, after Luck was a full participant in Monday's session and made "full throws" on Wednesday, per Keefer.
"Hate to sound like a broken record, but he's headed in the right direction," Pagano said, adding: "I'm sure when (Andrew's) back, we're going to see the same guy."
Luck himself said Wednesday he's "pretty darn close to where I want to be," leading us to believe that he'll be ready for Sunday's rematch of last year's uneven AFC title game.
