Former San Diego Chargers defensive lineman Luis Castillo traveled to New England this past weekend for a Saturday visit with the Patriots, a source told the Boston Herald on Monday. Castillo left New England without agreeing to a deal, according to the Herald.
Castillo missed all but one game in 2011 because of a broken leg, but has been a consistent presence on the Chargers' defensive line throughout his seven-year career.
