The New England Patriots have given cornerback Kyle Arrington an exclusive-rights tender, meaning the team will retain the starter's rights in the event of an NFL lockout, the *Boston Herald* reported Monday night.
The tender is for the league minimum of $480,000 for one season. It's possible Arrington could sign it, or he and the team could work out a new contract.
Arrington, who made the Patriots' roster as an undrafted free agent in 2009, had 71 tackles and one interception in his first season as a starter.
