In the "Around the League Podcast" Week 6 recap, the ATL crew anointed the Seattle Seahawks the NFC's strongest team thus far.
The rich are about to get richer, as coach Pete Carroll said Monday that wide receiver Percy Harvin's return from hip surgery is right around corner.
"He really ran well last week and ran well in pregame, I don't know if you guys saw that," Carroll said, via KIRO-AM. "He's fast and moving at a good clip. ... He's getting really close. I know he's wanting to do it, so we'll see where it is. Very, very encouraged by what he's doing right now, and everybody should be very hopeful that it's not too far off now."
Carroll went on to suggest it will be three weeks or a month before Harvin is ready for game action.
Under that scenario, Harvin would return before his original target date of Thanksgiving.
Russell Wilson's aerial attack has had as many stops as starts this season. Getting Harvin back -- along with left tackle Russell Okung and right tackle Breno Giacomini -- should allow this unit enough time to gel entering the postseason.
