The Pittsburgh Steelers had a tough day Sunday, losing their season opener to the Tennessee Titans16-9, while also suffering season-ending injuries to three players -- including Pro Bowl center Maurkice Pouncey.
Today, the Steelers began the re-grouping process by agreeing to terms on a one-year contract with center Fernando Velasco, a former Titan. ESPN's Adam Caplan first reported the deal.
Velasco, a former Georgia Bulldog, was signed by the Titans as an undrafted free agent in 2008 and was released by the team Aug. 30.
