AFC Offensive Player of the Month

Baltimore Ravens · QB

The back-to-back MVP conversation has only just begun, as Jackson's stellar season continued through an astounding October. Through the air, Jackson completed 86 of 128 passes (67.2%) for 1,241 yards and 12 touchdowns with just one interception to add up to a 126.5 passer rating. He's still fleet of foot as ever, too, as evidenced by his 193 rushing yards in the month.

NFC Offensive Player of the Month

Detroit Lions · QB

Goff has been Mr. Efficient for the first-place Lions. Through the month of October, Goff completed a stellar 80% of his passes, astonishingly throwing just 13 incompletions as he went 52-of-65 passing. Goff threw for 680 yards, eight touchdowns and no interceptions to post a 149.8 rating.

AFC Defensive Player of the Month

Houston Texans · DE

Last season's AP NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year almost equaled his first-year sack total (seven) this past month. Anderson has propelled the first-place Texans, tallying 17 tackles, seven tackles for loss, a fumble recovery, a pass breakup and five sacks in October.

One of the most impactful free-agent signings of 2024, McKinney has been a boon for the Packers. The ballhawk grabbed two interceptions this month to go with 19 tackles, three pass breakups, a sack and a fumble recovery.

AFC Special Teams Player of the Month

Pittsburgh Steelers · K

Boswell's sterling season continues with a second straight Player of the Month accolade. The veteran booter has spearheaded the Steelers' scoring attack on many an occasion and was perfect in October. Boswell converted each of his 10 extra point attempts and more impressively was 12 for 12 on field goals.

NFC Special Teams Player of the Month

Arizona Cardinals · K

Having struggled in New England, Ryland didn't find a spot with Arizona until kicker Matt Prater went down with an injury. Since then, Ryland has given the Cardinals cause for celebration over and over and over again. Ryland converted game-winning field goals in Weeks 5, 7 and 8 for the Cards, making all six of his extra points during October and eight of his nine field goals.

Offensive Rookie of the Month

Denver Broncos · QB

The No. 12 overall pick of the 2024 NFL Draft, Nix has taken to Sean Payton's offense with aplomb. The dual threat helped the Broncos to a 3-1 October, passing for 870 yards, seven touchdowns and just one interception while completing 82 of his 123 passes (66.7%). He added a pair of touchdowns and 149 yards on the ground.

Defensive Rookie of the Month

Pittsburgh Steelers · CB

The undrafted free agent has become a playmaker on the Steelers' vaunted defense. Across October, Bishop has tallied 16 tackles, five pass breakups, three interceptions and two tackles for loss. He's played in eight games this season with three starts. He was a starter in each of the past two Pittsburgh games, both of them wins as each of his three picks came in that span.
