AFC Offensive Player of the Week
Jackson was in vintage form on Sunday, propelling his Baltimore Ravens past the Cincinnati Bengals, 41-38, in overtime. Jackson was responsible for more than 400 yards of offense, completing 26 of 42 passes for 348 yards and four touchdowns. He added 55 yards on the ground.
NFC Offensive Player of the Week
Cousins starred under the prime-time lights, rallying the Atlanta Falcons past the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in overtime, 36-30, on Thursday night. Cousins threw for a career-high and franchise-record 509 yards, completing 42 of 58 passes. His final pass was a walk-off 45-yard TD to KhaDarel Hodge.
AFC Defensive Player of the Week
Surtain keyed the Denver Broncos' 34-18 win over the Las Vegas Raiders, turning a game in which his squad was trailing by 10 points into a rout. Surtain took a pick-six 100 yards to begin a 34-point scoring run for Denver. He finished the game with two INTs and three tackles.
NFC Defensive Player of the Week
McKinney continued his incredible start to the season, recording his fifth interception of the campaign to help the Green Bay Packers get past the Los Angeles Rams, 24-19. McKinney has had an INT in each game this season. On Sunday, he added three tackles, two pass breakups and a fumble recovery.
AFC Special Teams Player of the Week
Fairbairn continued his sterling season in Week 5, lifting the Houston Texans over the Buffalo Bills, 23-20, with a game-winning 59-yard field goal. It was Fairbairn's eighth field goal this season of 50 or more yards, which is three shy of the NFL single-season record. It was also his second of the day, as he finished with 11 total points, converting both of his extra points and all three of his field goals, including boots from 50 and 47 yards.
NFC Special Teams Player of the Week
The former Arizona Cardinals first-round pick soared to the New York Giants' biggest play on Sunday, propelling them to a 29-20 win over the Seattle Seahawks. With Seattle attempting a game-tying field goal with 1:05 remaining, Simmons blocked the kick and Bryce Ford-Wheaton returned it 60 yards the other way for a touchdown. Simmons also had a special teams tackle.
