Terrelle Pryor's eligibility for the upcoming NFL supplemental draft remains in doubt.
NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora reported Tuesday that the league sent a memo to all 32 teams with a list of eligible players for the Aug. 17 supplemental draft. Pryor, a former Ohio State quarterback, wasn't among the two players listed.
Determining eligibility for the supplemental draft is done on a "rolling basis," according to the league, so Pryor could be added to the list later. Pryor's situation is still under consideration, according to a league source.
"We spoke with the NFL today and were told that no decision has been made yet regarding Terrelle's eligibility for the supplemental draft," Pryor's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, tweeted Tuesday.
One player who was on the list and is eligible for the supplemental draft is Georgia running back Caleb King, who will hold a pro-day workout Monday at 10 a.m. in Athens, Ga., according to his agent, Kevin Conner.
The supplemental draft typically is held several weeks before the start of training camps in mid-July, but it was delayed this year because of the NFL lockout. Started in 1977, it is intended for players who missed the filing deadline for the NFL draft or had other issues that affected their college eligibility.
King and Pryor are among the few players known to have applied for the supplemental draft.
Pryor reportedly will hold a pro day at an undisclosed site in Pittsburgh on Friday, according to The Sports Xchange.
Pryor was suspended by Ohio State and the NCAA for the first five games of the 2011 season for accepting improper benefits in the form of cash and discounted tattoos from a Columbus tattoo-parlor owner. He hired Rosenhaus in June and announced that he wouldn't return to Ohio State for his senior season.
