Panthers return man Kenny Moore muffed a punt that was recovered by the Bills with 5:15 remaining. The turnover gave Buffalo the ball at Carolina's 20-yard line instead of giving the Panthers -- down 17-9 at that point -- an opportunity to potentially tie the game. As a result, the Bills killed more time and kicked a field goal to extend their lead to 20-9.

Bills FS Jairus Byrd picked off Panthers QB Jake Delhomme twice, leading to 14 points for Buffalo. It was Byrd's second straight two-interception game.
