The battle upfront: Carolina's power-running, deep-passing offense relies on excellent offensive line play. When the blockers open up holes for the explosive tandem of DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart, then QB Jake Delhomme can run play-action and throw long to speedy WR Steve Smith. The Cardinals have a talented defensive line and will look to disrupt the Panthers' attack.
Warner's ball security: Part of what makes Arizona QB Kurt Warner so effective also makes him prone to mistakes -- his courage to hold onto the ball as long as possible in the pocket while waiting for plays to develop. Warner will have to be extra careful keeping the ball too long this week with Panthers star DE Julius Peppers lining up on his blindside.
