In Brief
» Last meeting: The Raiders blocked a 40-yard field goal attempt from Phil Dawson as time expired to secure a 26-24 win in Week 3 of the 2007 season.
» Streaks: The Browns have won six of the last eight to trim the Raiders' overall series edge to 12-7, including the playoffs.
» Last week: Cleveland got a franchise record 286 rushing yards from Jerome Harrison in a 41-34 win over Kansas City. ... JaMarcus Russell came off the bench to lead the Raiders past the Broncos, 20-19.
Keep your eye on ...
Josh Cribbs' return skills: In what has largely been a lost season for the Browns, Cribbs continues to shine. He had two long kickoff return touchdowns last week to give him a league record eight for his career, and he has also been dynamic as a punt returner and Wildcat quarteback this year. It will be a great matchup to see how Cribbs does against perhaps the league's best kicking tandem in Oakland punter Shane Lechler and place kicker Sebastian Janikowski.
Which Raiders team shows up: Oakland is one of the NFL's hardest teams to figure out. It has beaten several playoff caliber teams, while also losing to some of the league's worst clubs. One thing seems certain -- if the game is close, the Raiders will likely win (they are 5-1 in games decided by four points or less, and 0-8 in games decided by more than four points).
