Sam Bradford is back in a walking boot, but it's only a precaution, and the St. Louis Rams' starting quarterback is expected to be in good shape for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns.
Bradford experienced normal pain but suffered no real setbacks during the Rams' 19-13 overtime loss to the Arizona Cardinals, coach Steve Spagnuolosaid in his Monday news conference. Bradford missed the Rams' previous two games with a high ankle sprain.
Spagnulo also announced that wide receiver Greg Salas would be out for the rest of the season, as expected, after fracturing his fibula Sunday. The fourth-round draft pick led the Rams with 27 receptions.
Salas was injured when an Arizona defender rolled on him after a 5-yard catch during the fourth quarter. Salas had seven catches for 59 yards Sunday.
Tight end Lance Kendricks has a mild foot sprain, and his availability to practice this week is still to be determined. Kendricks was carted off the field after sustaining the injury during the second quarter. Wide receiver Danario Alexander and running back Jerious Norwood are both working to return from hamstring injuries, but their practice status is uncertain.
