ST. LOUIS -- Rams quarterback Sam Bradford was limited in practice after aggravating a high left ankle sprain during Sunday's loss to the Arizona Cardinals.
Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo said Bradford probably took half of the snaps in practice Wednesday as a precaution. The quarterback said the ankle was sore, but he otherwise felt pretty good, considering it's late in the season.
Wide receiver Danario Alexander was a full participant in practice, apparently recovered from a hamstring injury that has sidelined him for five games. Safety Darian Stewart remained out with concussion symptoms and hoped he'd be cleared in time for this weekend's game at San Francisco.
Donnie Jones was an excused absence, and Spagnuolo said the punter had returned to Rams Park by the end of practice. Jones sprained his left ankle on Patrick Peterson's 80-yard punt-return touchdown for Arizona in the third quarter but is expected to be fine.
