The Baltimore Ravens have re-signed unrestricted free agent LB Nick Greisen to a three-year contract, general manager Ozzie Newsome announced Monday.
A seven-year veteran, Greisen has played in 84 games, starting 33 while posting 275 tackles (185 solo), 6 FRs, 5 FFs, 4 sacks and 4 FFs in those contests. He also has 51 special teams tackles to his credit.
In his first season with the Ravens (2007), Greisen played in 14 games, with two starts. He posted 38 tackles (22 solo) and led the squad in tackles from scrimmage in both his starts at MLB, filling in for the injured Ray Lewis. He also collected 13 special teams tackles on the season, good for fifth on the team.
